Kids in Rainbows was created to serve as a vehicle of self-expression for children that are often thought to be "out of the norm". Kids in rainbows provides gentle messages to normalize different developments, behaviors or ways of communication and to educate the world around our children.  Through thoughtful design and meaningful messages, we want to encourage acceptance, inclusion, and integration — not as concepts, but as everyday practice. 

Clothing and accessories may seem simple, but they are part of how children move through the world. Our designs are created to be a vehicle of expression, with gentle messages, and respectful of sensory needs. They are meant to carry messages of respect, dignity and belonging-not only for the child, but for families, schools, and communities who see them. 

Kids in Rainbows is for families who believe that there is more than one way to grow, that difference is not something to hide and that acceptance starts with visibility and normalization.
